Executive Council

Humble Beginnings

Minot AFB Airmen Against Drunk Driving began in 2010, starting off as Operation Safe Ride. Later on in 2018, the name changed to Airmen Against Drunk Driving (AADD), a much more widely known organization that provides safe, reliable, free, and confidential rides to all Minot AFB-affiliated individuals such as military members (Active, Guard, Reserve), DoD civilians, spouses, and dependants. Although the names have changed, the mission remains the same.

We are a volunteer-based, non-profit, Private Organization. AADD is not a part of the Department of Defense or any of its components and does not have any official government status. The organization is self-sustaining and relies on volunteers to continue its operations. AADD operates every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night from 2100-0200 (soon to change to 2200-0300 starting 01 October 2022). Our operating hours are extended on holiday weekends from 2000-0300.

Our AADD phone is 701-727-2233(AADD), the number was donated by SRT. Gas cards and monetary contributions provided to volunteers are donated by the Northern Sentry Newspaper. We are so thankful to our sponsors and appreciate all they have contributed!

We are also extremely appreciative of all of our incredible volunteers who take the time out of their primary duties and lives to provide safe, reliable ride services to passengers.

Meet the Team

The AADD Executive Council is comprised of volunteers who dedicate themselves to the base-wide organization of volunteer drivers and Squadron Representatives. We are responsible for supporting our volunteers and bridging the gap between higher leadership.
