REQUEST AADD EVENT SUPPORT

AADD is willing to help provide additional volunteers for your event, but obtaining the requested amount of volunteers is not a guarantee. AADD will do its best to get as many volunteers as possible, but we reserve the right to deny event requests for any valid reason. We encourage you to gather volunteers in-house to have enough volunteers readily available for your event. Events are parties or celebrations needing support outside our regular operating hours and days.

If you need AADD support, you must submit a request form to the Executive Council. The form must be filled out in its entirety by the requesting party. The AADD Executive Council will review the form and provide a receipt to the requestor. All requests MUST be submitted at least one month in advance for enough time to advertise and promote the event. The latest form can be submitted is two weeks before the event.

DISCLOSURE: Requestors needing AADD support for their event understand that AADD is not liable for theft, damage, injuries, or misconduct of volunteers who have agreed to support the event. The requestor understands that AADD will do its best to produce the requested amount of volunteers but cannot guarantee volunteer availability. The requestor understands that AADD is strictly a volunteer-based organization and that AADD will ask the requestor have some form of incentive or compensation for volunteers, such as a Letter of Appreciation or to help fund food and non-alcoholic beverages for volunteers who will be on site. If no incentives are available, the requestor must provide reasoning and/or compromise with the AADD Executive Council to, at a minimum, write a Letter of Appreciation to all volunteers willing to step up to support the event. The requestor understands they must submit the request form, filled to its entirety, and will provide a flyer (if applicable) so AADD can advertise and promote the event. The requestor understands that AADD can deny the request when there is insufficient time to gather volunteers or for any other valid reason that is determined by the Executive Council that they cannot fulfill the requestor's demands.
